Richard David Zorowitz Celebrates More Than 30 Years of Industry Experience

Dr. Zorowitz received the Central Nervous System Council Outstanding Service Award from the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation



Dr. Zorowitz works as an outpatient physician at MedStar National Rehabilitation Network and professor of clinical rehabilitation medicine at Georgetown University.

    WASHINGTON, DC, August 23, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard D. Zorowitz has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Backed by over 30 years of professional excellence, Dr. Zorowitz works as an outpatient physician at MedStar National Rehabilitation Network and professor of clinical rehabilitation medicine at Georgetown University. Earlier in his career, he started in the medical field as an intern with Long Island Jewish Medical Center. After then serving as a resident with Northwestern University, he transferred his expertise to the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, the University of Pennsylvania, and Johns Hopkins University in varying professor roles. Over the years, he also worked as a medical director of the Piersol Rehabilitation Unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and chairman of Physical Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

A graduate of Northwestern University and Tulane University, Dr. Zorowitz holds a Bachelor of Science and an MD. In order to remain active and engaged among his professional circles, he affiliates himself with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Heart Association, and the National Stroke Association. Throughout his career, he has been awarded many times for his professional accomplishments. In addition to receiving the Central Nervous System Council Outstanding Service Award from the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Zorowitz has been featured in four volumes each of Who's Who in Science and Engineering, and Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, as well as six volumes of Who's Who in America.
