Peachtree Corners Business Association's 4th Annual PCBA Charity Event Announces Recipients

Peachtree Corners Business Association will hold the 4th Annual Community Outreach Event at Prototype Prime on Thursday, August 24, 2017. Net proceeds from the event will benefit local non-profit and community organizations.



The 4th Annual PCBA Charity Event will raise money for local charities and non-profit groups through a silent auction, raffle, and net proceeds of the event.

    PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA, August 23, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Peachtree Corners Business Association (PCBA) has announced several charity recipients for their 4th Annual PCBA Charity Event. Themed, "Kick Off to Caring Tailgate Party", the event will be held at Prototype Prime, a coworking space / business incubator, in Peachtree Corners on August 24th at 5:30pm.

The 4th Annual PCBA Charity Event will raise money for local charities and non-profit groups through a silent auction, raffle, and net proceeds of the event. Benefactors will include Rainbow Village, which will support youth enrichment field trips and youth holiday camps, as well as Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument, which will be located in the city's new Town Center. Also, Paul Duke STEM High School Foundation will receive a portion of the money raised; the school is set to open in Gwinnett County in 2018.

The Main Event Sponsor for the 4th Annual PCBA Charity Event is Infinite Energy. They are one of the oldest natural gas marketers in the state. In addition, Touchdown Club sponsors include The City of Peachtree Corners, Waste Pro, Calumet Bank, The Corners | Glenfield Capital, The Forum on Peachtree Parkway. Extra Points sponsors include Thompson O'Brien, B Tucker Heating & Air, and Peterbrooke Chocolatier at The Forum.

"The PCBA created a Community Outreach committee in 2013 with the mission to support local community activities and charitable organizations throughout the year," explains Lisa Proctor, President. "Since inception, PCBA Outreach has raised over $50,000," says Proctor.

PCBA's "Kick Off to Caring Tailgate Party" is open for registration; must be 18 to attend. The cost is $25 and tickets include 2 drinks and tailgating fare. Event activities include a Corn Hole Tournament, Selfie Contest, Business Networking, and DJ. Attendees can wear your favorite football attire.
