Dr. Glazer has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the legal and education industries

"Law and order is the complete opposite of war."

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 25, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name Jack Henry Glazer a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Mr. Glazer celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A former officer of the U.S. Navy, Dr. Glazer fought in the Korean War. Originally planning to make the navy his career, he became discouraged by the sight of the hurting children in Korea. Making a decision to pursue law school instead because "law and order is the complete opposite of war," he became an international lawyer and was involved in the first treaties of outer space.

Completing a Bachelor's degree at Duke University in 1950, a JD at Georgetown University in 1956, and postgraduate studies at Goethe-Universitat Frankfurt am Main from 1956 to 1957, Dr. Glazer began working as an attorney for the General Accounting Office and NASA in 1958. A few years later, he became a member of the maritime division for the UN International Labour Office in Geneva, spending a year in his role before taking on the title of special legal advisor. He then worked as a special legal advisor for the International Telecommunicating Union in Geneva, as an attorney for NASA, and as chief council for NASA-Ames Research Center, Moffet Field, in California, from 1966 to 1988. During these years, Dr. Glazer earned a Doctor of Juridical Science at the University of California at Berkeley. He also began teaching as an assistant professor at Hastings College of Law and as professor and associate dean of the business school at San Francisco State University.

As a member of the State Bar of D.C. since 1957 and the State Bar of California since 1968, Dr. Glazer previously spent time as director of the San Francisco Palace Fine Arts. During his years in the military, he served as a commander of the California Naval Militia, retiring as a captain in the U.S. Navy Reserves.

As a contributor of articles to professional journals throughout his career, Dr. Glazer has been included in numerous editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in American Politics, Who's Who in the West, and Who's Who in the World.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Jack Henry Glazer has been featured on the Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievers website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
