Edward J. Radlo Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

    LOS ALTOS HILLS, CA, August 31, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name Edward J. Radlo a Lifetime Achiever. Congratulations are due to Mr. Radlo, who has just celebrated his 50th anniversary at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since he left the venerable institution, he has made great strides in the fields of patent law and intellectual property law, and was named to the Euromoney Guide to the World's Leading Patent Law Practitioners between 1999 and 2015. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Edward Zygmund and Sue Mary Radlo, Mr. Radlo received a Bachelor of Science degree from MIT in 1967, and served to the rank of lieutenant, junior grade, with the U.S. Public Health Service for two years. He earned a JD from Harvard University in 1972 while serving as staff director of the Boston attorney general's advisory commission on juvenile code revision. From 1972 to 1973, Mr. Radlo served as a law clerk with the Rhode Island Supreme Court, and in 1973, he joined the prestigious Honeywell Information Systems in Waltham, Massachusetts. Mr. Radlo served for four years with Varian Associates in California as a patent attorney, and from 1978 to 1990 he worked with the Ford Aerospace Corporation as chief patent counsel.

After serving the defense and aerospace arm of Ford, Mr. Radlo became a partner with a number of firms until starting Radlo and Su, LLP in 2010. One year later, he officially formed the Radlo IP Law Group. Additionally, he taught from 1975 to 2009 as a lecturer with the Practicing Law Institute, Golden Gate University, the University of Santa Clara, the San Jose State University, and the University of California. Mr. Radlo has been a prolific civic leader with the Los Altos Hills Emergency Communications Committee, the Southern Peninsula Emergency Communications Systems, the Environmental Defense Fund, the Lawyers' Alliance for Nuclear Arms Control, the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association, and the Tomahawks Lacrosse Club in Menlo Park, California. He has held membership with the American Bar Association, Ecotensil, Primal Fusion, the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels Association, the California Bar, the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association, the Association of Radio Amateurs of Southern New England, the Northern California Contest Club, and Sigma Xi.

Of the many honors Mr. Radlo has received, he was named in 2004, 2006, and through 2009 as one of the Northern California Super Lawyers by San Francisco Magazine. He has also contributed more than 50 articles, mostly to legal publications. Mr. Radlo was selected for inclusion in numerous volumes of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the West, and Who's Who in the World, as well as the 1987 to 1988 volume of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America. He is the proud parent of Heather Sue from a previous marriage, as well as Graeme Michael and Connor Andrew with his wife, Patricia Jackson. In his free time, Mr. Radlo enjoys amateur radio and poetry.
