U.S. Military Pilot-Turned-Author Extends Patriotism To His Novels

C.W. Lemoine finds inspiration in New Orleans law enforcement for his new book, "Absolute Vengeance: The Alex Shepherd Story".

NEW ORLEANS, LA, September 17, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- C.W. Lemoine (patriot, pilot, deputy sheriff, and author of the Spectre series) releases a new terrorism thriller, "Absolute Vengeance: The Alex Shepherd Story" (releasing September 19, 2017). C.W. Lemoine masterfully blends fiction with current world issues, giving readers a powerful dose of justice.

C.W. Lemoine has always emphasized on making his stories authentic and staying true to reality. Lemoine is a former Air Force Reserve pilot, where he flew the F-16 and accumulated one thousand hours including a combat tour in Iraq. He has also flown for the Navy and is currently in the Navy Reserve, where he flew F/A-18A+ Hornets for four years.

For "Absolute Vengeance: The Alex Shepherd Story," Lemoine found inspiration from his position as a law enforcement officer in Louisiana:

A few years ago, I read about people traveling to Iraq and Syria to fight alongside the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) against ISIS. I thought it was fascinating because, at the time, our government was doing very little to stop the spread of Daesh. That's when I got the idea for 'Absolute Vengeance.' At the time I was also doing the field training program as a reserve deputy for the Sheriff's office, and drew upon my experience working in criminal patrol to help create the Alex Shepherd story.

"Absolute Vengeance: The Alex Shepherd Story" follows the story of Corporal Alex Shepherd, decorated Sheriff's Deputy and SWAT sniper. On the first day of school in a New Orleans suburb, terrorists hijack a school bus full of children. Alex's life takes a devastating turn when he attempts to stop the attack and save his wife and daughter. What follows is a journey of vengeance driven by his thirst for revenge.

About "Absolute Vengeance: The Alex Shepherd Story"

On the first day of school in a New Orleans suburb, terrorists hijack a school bus full of children. Corporal Alex Shepherd, decorated Sheriff's Deputy and SWAT sniper, is critically injured trying to stop the attack and save his wife and daughter.

Waking from a month-long coma, Shepherd finds his girls are gone and the world has moved on. With no arrests made, his frustration at the system's failures forces him to take matters into his own hands.

His thirst for vengeance leads him from New Orleans to the brutal battlefields of Syria, where he gains fame as a ruthless sniper. ISIS targets him, wanting his death to be a gruesome propaganda display. But as the bodies stack up, Shepherd learns there's no compromise in the war against evil.

With nothing left to lose, he must confront the people responsible for the murder of his wife and daughter...or die trying.
