FALLS CHURCH, VA, September 20, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name Harry A. Rissetto a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Mr. Rissetto celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Rissetto is an accomplished attorney who served for 44 years specializing in labor and employment law with the firm of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius. He has served the airline, trucking, and railroad industries in particular, representing national transportation service entities in employer labor relations, discrimination litigation, and appellate advocacy. Mr. Rissetto is a noted expert on The Railway Labor Act of 1926, and has taught law as an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center.

Born in 1943, Mr. Rissetto is a graduate of Fairfield University and Georgetown University, where he earned a JD in 1968. He served in the U.S. District Court in Washington as a law clerk to Judge John J. Sirica, who would later rise to national fame for his role presiding over the trial of the Watergate burglars. In 1969, Mr. Rissetto went on to a position as a law clerk with Chief Justice Warren R. Burger of the U.S. Supreme Court and passed the bar in New York, followed with admittance to practice in Washington in 1970 as well as in the U.S. Supreme Court. He accepted a position in 1970 as an associate with Morgan, Lewis, and Bockius, rising to partner in 1975. Mr. Rissetto originally worked with discrimination cases, but handled collective bargaining disputes, which led him to focus in that area of legal service. He came to be known as a sound counsel in labor relations and employment law, and is most proud of the work he did with Conrail in helping to reform a collective bargaining agreement.

In 2014, Mr. Rissetto retired from legal work after numerous cases and speaking engagements. Notably, he served as an adjunct professor with his alma mater, and worked with the American Bar Association as co-chairman of the Railway Labor Act committee in the section of labor and employment law.

For his many years of legal excellence, Mr., Rissetto was selected for inclusion in numerous volumes of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the East, and Who's Who in the World. He is a member of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and has received the 2004 Burton Award for Legal Achievement for his article, "Airline Bankruptcy and the Rejection of Labor Contracts."
