His recent papers have to do with Barrett's esophagus, a condition associated with long-term gastroesophageal reflux that causes frequent heartburn and chest symptoms. Dr. Inamdar has studied the risk of arrhythmia with inflammatory bowel disease patients, the role of anesthesia in colonoscopy, as well as continuing care in retirement communities. Geriatrics is one of Dr. Inamdar's focuses of research.
