LAKE WORTH, FL, October 17, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Alfred Wayne Finnell, PhD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Finnell celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Established in 2014 by Dr. Finnell, who serves as chief executive officer, Tension Turbine Inc. is the business behind the product. Dr. Finnell is the inventor of the tension turbine, a tension turbine that was designed by Dr. Finnell to harness energy from the wind and uses tension as the method of providing the strength to the entire unit, therefore enabling it to produce energy at lower wind speeds. It is also quieter than other tension turbines.

Holding two patents in the fields of renewable energy and aerodynamics, Dr. Finnell first earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), and a PhD in Religion. Certified to teach at the university level in the states of California and New Jersey, he also holds a certification in NLP and has a Federal Communications Commission First Class license. Dr. Finnell has worked in the field of computation as a programmer, analyst, supervisor, design specialist, and as an MIS coordinator for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He previously served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1953 to 1955, and was active in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1956. He was also active with the Reserve Officers' Training Corps in the U.S. Air Force in 1956.

Aspiring to continue doing consulting work on his two inventions, the Tension Turbine and the Tension Wing, Dr. Finnell is eager for the future of renewable energy. When he isn't busy doing research or maintaining his business, he loves growing rare, tropical fruits in his backyard.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Alfred Wayne Finnell, PhD, has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
