After completing a Bachelor of Art in Government at American University in 1967, followed by a JD at the University of Miami in 1970, Mr. Entin was admitted to practice by the Florida Bar Association shortly thereafter and began practicing as a partner at Becker, Kimler & Entin in Miami for several years.Later, he served as partner of Ullman, Kimler & Entin, Franklin, Ullman, Kimler & Entin, and Franklin, Entin, Kimler & Marks until 1980. For the next six years, he served as senior partner of Entin, Schwartz, Dion & Sclafani, followed by several more years as senior partner of Entin, Schwartz, Barbakoff & Schwarts until ultimately forming Entin & Della Fera. He has since been admitted to the Northern, Southern, and Middle Districts of the U.S. District Court, the Supreme Court of the United States, the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals, the Eastern District the U.S. District Court of Wisconsin, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District Court of Vermont.

Mr. Entin has practiced both criminal and civil litigation in state and federal courts, and has appeared in criminal matters throughout the continental U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. A well-renowned criminal defense attorney of his time who has also been affiliated with several high-profile cases, Mr. Entin has been mentioned in several books, including "Flowers for Mrs. Luskin" and "Courting Justice." He was also mentioned in film documentaries, such as "The Life and Death of Death Row Records." Furthermore, his reputation has included the acquittal of several significant cases, including that of the "Bubba Bust" case in Key West, FL, and has received favorable results in many state courts, including everything from violent crimes to political corruption.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, after exiting law school Mr. Entin made the decision to stay in the Sunshine State for the remainder of his career. He has since been very active in his community, acting in community theater, serving as a chairman of the board for the Pembroke Pines Theater of Performing Arts, and as a judge for the Carbonnell Award, South Florida's version of the Broadway's Tony Awards. He is also a past president of the Beth Torah Adath Yeshuran Congregation as well as the former board of directors of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. His involvement results in him earning a 2015 Remy Award for Outstanding Contributions to Community Theater by the South Florida Theater League.

In 1980, Mr. Entin was nominated for the 13th District of Florida in U.S. Congress. Highlighted in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders, Mr. Entin received an AV Rating by Martindale-Hubbell every year since 1980. He also remains active as a longstanding member of the Federal Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Florida Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, where he also served on the board of directors, and many other organizations.

Married to Lois J. Entin, with whom he has had six children, Mr. Entin is the author of "The Law of Mobile Homes in Florida," a landlord-tenant booklet that an associate-judge mediator for the city of North Miami Beach.
