CARY, NC, October 19, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Madeline J. Daubert with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Daubert celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A former member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, Ms Daubert owned her own private practice from 1987-2015. Specializing in non-profit financial management as well as taxation and finance for the elderly, she retired the business in 2015 but continues to work on a volunteer basis. Her sense of integrity and loyalty during her many years in the field have given Ms. Daubert a reputation that has spoken for itself.

Ms. Daubert earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education from the State University of New York at Cortland in 1962, as well as a Master of Library Science from the State University of New York at Albany in 1969. A school library director when her children were young, Ms. Daubert later moved into administrative work, and passed the CPA Exam in 1983. She spent time as an accounting manager and university software consultant, and taught graduate courses at Texas Women's University, the University of South Florida, and the University of North Carolina. She also developed and taught programs for the Special Libraries Association and the Library of Congress. She is the author of "Analyzing Library Costs," "Control of Administrative and Financial Operations in Special Libraries," "Money Talk: Accounting Fundamentals for Special Librarians," and "Financial Management for Small and Medium-Sized Libraries."

Ms Daubert has volunteered for many community organizations wherever she has lived. She was a member of the education committee of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, a trustee for Keller Library Board in Texas, and member and vice chairman of the Village of Flat Rock (NC) Board of Adjustment. She was treasurer of the Hendersonville Little Theatre, Hendersonville American Association of University Women, Blue Ridge Center for Lifelong Learning, and two homeowners' associations (and president of one). She served as chair of the audit committee, and director of the Community Foundation of Henderson County, and was on the finance committee of the Hendersonville Symphony. Doing volunteer work at her retirement community where she lives, Ms. Daubert serves on the finance, library, and healthcare committees for SearStone Residents' Association. Ms. Daubert plans to continue with volunteer work and travel with her husband of nearly 60 years, Robert Louis Daubert. Notably, she has been highlighted in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women several times.
