For more than 30 years, bulwiengesa's range of services, which include data, analysis, appraisals, and consulting, works with national and international clients in a range of fields, such as construction companies, real estate developers, institutional investors, banks that operate internationally, local authorities and portfolio owners, as well as medium-sized companies and public institutions. Additionally, Mr. Steininger serves as a research associate at the chair of economics at Technische Universitat Munchen, and in the department of political science at RWTH Aachen University.

Mr. Steininger previously worked as a teaching and research associate at the University of Munchen from 1998 to 1999, and in the same capacity at the Technische Universitat Munchen from 1999 to 2008. He has authored a variety of publications and research projects in the fields of education economics, especially rankings of universities and economic research institutes, political economy, regional economics, real estate economics, empirical research in economics, econometrics, and gambling/sports betting markets. Currently, he is heading two projects: "Socioeconomic determinants of electoral behavior in empirical-ecological analysis" in cooperation with the Institute for Political Science at RWTH Aachen University since 2001, and "The airport system in Germany-an investigation from a regulatory perspective," in cooperation with the chair of economics at Technische Universitat Munchen since 2008. He has also refereed numerous journals, including the European Journal of Political Research, the Review of Regional Research, the German Journal of Real Estate Research, the Journal of Interdisciplinary Property Research, and the Journal of Information Technology Theory & Application.

Since 2011, Mr. Steininger has been speaking at the International Monetary Fund. He has been known to participate in media coverage for several large organizations, including the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, Handelsblatt, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and others. He was also a participant in the second meeting of the Nobel laureates in economics in Lindau.

Mr. Steininger earned a Diplom-Volkswirt at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat Munchen in 1997, followed by a Diplom-Volkswirt mit Zusatzfach Statistik at the University of Munich in 1998. A member of the American Economic Association, the American Association of Wine Economists, the Munchner Volkswirte Alumni Club, and several other relative organizations in his industry, Mr. Steininger has been included in Who's Who in the World every year since 2010.
