Painted Axe Guitars: Powerful, Lucrative Method to Gain Attention, Maximize Fundraising & Connect to New Customers

Festivals average almost a 300% return on investment

"... when you add a dash of pre-event marketing to the branded, custom painted and celebrity/artist signed guitar, it's a recipe for substantial success."

JACKSONVILLE, FL, November 10, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- October was again a truly outstanding month for Painted Axe, as three festivals commissioned guitars that earned substantial fundraising revenue. The Mighty Mississippi Music Festival, King Biscuit Blues Festival and the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival averaged almost a 300% return on their investments.

"In the music industry, whether festivals, tours, CD release parties or special events, custom decorated guitars remain a powerful, lucrative and attractive method to gain attention, maximize fundraising and connect to new customers," said Michael Gauf, owner/artisan of Painted Axe. "And when you add a dash of pre-event marketing to the branded, custom painted and celebrity/artist signed guitar, it's a recipe for substantial success."

Gauf continued, "Having seen and assisted in silent auctions and raffles for our guitars, t-shirts, koozies and bottle openers don't hold a candle to the interest, excitement and anticipation of possibly going home with one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia."

In addition, the value of a branded, custom painted guitar, in part, can be measured by repeat business. The King Biscuit Blues of Helena, Ark., came back for the seventh straight year; Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival of New Orleans, for the fifth; and Mighty Mississippi Music Festival, of Greenville, Miss., for the third. Since 2014, Painted Axe commissioned guitars have generated more than $25,000 in fundraising revenue for eight different clients, averaging $2000 per guitar.

"We work closely with clients to provide the best possible guitar presentation, reinforcing or communicating a message, feeling and/or story specific to the commission," said Gauf. "We also offer guidance on how to maximize their return on investment, suggesting ways to showcase the guitar pre-event, during and after. It's our goal that each guitar is as successful as it can be."

Painted Axe also assists musicians extend their brand through performance-ready, custom painted guitars, reflecting their personality and messages. Blues man John Lee Hooker Jr., LA Rocker Ronny North and Night Ranger guitarist Keri Kelli are just a few of artists to trust Painted Axe.

Based in Jacksonville Fla., Painted Axe specializes in custom painted guitars for special events, festivals and musicians. Owner/artisan Michael Gauf creates branded, one-of-kind guitars for personal expression and use at fundraisers (raffles, silent auctions, crowd funding). Clients include the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise, King Biscuit Blues Festival, Blues Foundation, BTE Foundation, Summer Camp Festival, to mention a few.
