Earlier in his career, he worked as a program manager in the DARPA Information Systems Office for Counter CC&D Technologies. Over the years, he has also lent his expertise to General Electric Aerospace and General Dynamics Missile Systems.
A graduate of The Ohio State University and Syracuse University, Dr. Davis holds a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, and a PhD. In order to remain active and engaged among his professional circles, he affiliates himself with the IEEE and the Military Sensing Symposia, where he is a fellow, and the IEEE Aerospace and Electronics Systems Society, where he has served on the board of governors as the vice president of conferences and the vice president of finance.
During the course of his career, he has contributed his knowledge to 75 journal and conference papers covering radar and microwave systems. He has also authored the text "Foliage Penetration Radar - Detection and Characterization of Objects Under Trees", SciTech Publishing 2011. This serves as the basis for his continued IEEE Distinguished Lectures, given world-wide.
An expert in his field, Dr. Davis has been awarded on numerous occasions for his work in the field. In 2011, he won the Warren D. White Award through the IEEE. In the coming years, Dr. Davis intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
