ST. LOUIS, MO, December 01, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dressel's Public House, a welsh-inspired pub located in the Central West End of St. Louis, MO, will begin celebrating its 37th anniversary on December 9, 2017 by rolling back to their 1980 menu prices and will continue to celebrate for the six days following with all sorts of special events.

A St. Louis landmark is turning 37 this December. Dressel's Pub in the Central west end opened it's doors Dec 3rd, 1980. There will be a week-long series of events to celebrate this one of a kind St. Louis institution. A line from a poem written by Jon Dressel, original owner, sums up the spirit of the pub. "Where food loves drink and life and art embrace."

In the early years, composers and musicians birthdays were celebrated with regular events. Beethoven, Louis Armstrong, Puccini, Miles Davis all saw their works performed at Dressel's on an annual basis.

After 37 years it's now in the hands of a 2nd generation Dressel, son Benjamin. The focus on farm to table pub dining hasn't changed the overall coziness and feel of the place. The kitchen and dining room have expanded to accommodate a larger crowd but Dressel's remains a cheerful neighborhood pub that welcomes patrons from around the world.

"A feature spot of The Food Network's Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives helped the pub grow but through all the changes Dressel's has always kept to its roots celebrating the arts and its close family connection to the little but great country of Wales," said Dressel, sole proprietor.

In honor of its 37 birthday, Dressel's will be hosting guests for six days of events, all of which are listed below.
