Angela Johnson Releases Her New Book, "Diabolically Delicious - Our Toxic Relationship with Food"

Amazon Best Selling Author

LOS ANGELES, CA, December 17, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Angela Johnson, along with her husband, is a 35+ year successful restauranteur, and now a best selling author.

In her new book," Diabolically Delicious - Our Toxic Relationship with Food," Angela writes for anyone who has experienced a toxic relationship with food. She shares her struggles with using food for comfort and her journey to recognizing her vulnerability and the steps she took to gain control over the one thing that she had relied on in almost every area of her life.

In a recent interview on "Thriving Entrepreneur" radio show, Angela said, "Go to the grocery store, find your favorite snack, turn it around, and really look at the ingredient label, not the nutrition label, but the ingredient label, which is what tells you what's IN the food. Just think about what's in there. Understand that most of what's in there is fake and does not belong in our bodies. Most of those foods are loaded with additives and chemicals that make it taste really good, which in turn makes us crave it even more. Ultimately, it just puts things in perspective and gives you the option to make a better choice. We need to understand what we are putting in our bodies that are hurting us, so we can make better choices when grocery shopping."

Steve Kidd, the host of the radio show, encourages you to get Angela Johnson's book. He said, "Most of us do a lot of things for ourselves that don't really serve us, most of which is mind-numbing. We need to be really careful in the way we reward ourselves especially when it comes to food."

It's a pleasure to meet you! I am Angela Johnson. I have been married for over 30 years and have 3 adult children. I am currently an empty nester.

I, along with my husband, own and run a successful family restaurant and we have been in business for 35 years.

I am someone who has struggled with my weight for years and decided enough was enough. I had to end this toxic relationship with food. I did that by educating myself on how to have a healthier lifestyle through you guessed it, diet and exercise, all while having choices and versatility in my life. Notice I didn't say "dieting."

Honestly, I still have struggles on a daily basis. However, as I quote in my book....."I can not live without you. I need you to survive." With that being said, I have learned to create a healthy, realistic boundaries with food, which in turn makes life much more pleasant.
