An alumna of Kyungpook National University, Dr. Seo holds a PhD in Architectural Planning. While pursuing her education, she conducted a study on the lighting plan for the behavioral affordance in housing space. To remain alert of changes within her field of expertise, Dr. Seo is affiliated with multiple professional circles, including the Korean Home Management Association, the Korean Interior Design Association, and the Korean Housing Association, the Korea Society of Color Studies, the Architectural Institute of Korea, and the Korean Institute of Illuminating and Electrical Installation Engineers. Throughout her career, she has authored numerous creative works on architecture in Korea, including "The Change of 'Attention Resources' and 'Space-memory' by Lighting Focusing on 'Selective Attention'" which appeared in the Journal of the Korean Institute of Interior Design, 25(2), 41-49.
