With nearly 50 years of industry experience to his credit, Mr. Mendelsohn has worked as president and chief executive officer with Market Technologies, LLC, since 1979, as well as chief executive officer with Predictive Technologies Group, LLC, since 2004. In 1983, he created ProfitTaker, the first strategy back-testing and optimization trading software commercially available for personal computers. In 1991, he went on to release the VantagePoint Trading Software, which utilizes artificial intelligence and deep-learning neural networks to comprehensively analyze global market data and forecast trends. Most recently, Mr. Mendelsohn developed the innovative stock trading software TradeShark in 2014.

Prior to establishing Market Technologies, Mr. Mendelsohn gained much experience in hospital administration, beginning his career as a research assistant for the Massachusetts General Hospital from 1969 to 1971. He followed this opportunity by holding the roles of regional health planner with the Comprehensive Health Planning Council from 1973 and 1974, an administrative resident for the New England Hospital in 1976, and management specialist for the Humana Hospital Bennett from 1977 to 1978. His final position in this field was as an assistant executive director at Humana Women's Hospital from 1978 to 1980.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Mendelsohn pursued an education at Carnegie Mellon University, earning a Bachelor of Science in administration and management science from the Tepper School of Business in 1969. He continued his studies in 1973, receiving a Master of Social Work at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Mr. Mendelsohn concluded his academic efforts at Boston University, graduating with a Master of Business Administration with Honors in 1977.

Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Mendelsohn has contributed to numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He has found much success with written work since 1983, having been featured in such esteemed publications as Barron's, ModernTrader, and the Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities. Additionally, he has authored such books as "Trend Forecasting with Technical Analysis: Unleashing the Hidden Power of Intermarket Analysis to Beat the Market" in 2000 and 2013, "Forex Trading Using Intermarket Analysis: Discovering Hidden Market Relationships That Provide Early Clues for Price Direction" in 2006, and "Trend Forecasting with Intermarket Analysis: Predicting Global Markets with Technical Analysis" in 2008. The editor of Neural-Financial News in 1991, Mr. Mendelsohn has also contributed research to "The Encyclopedia of Technical Market Indicators" in 1988, and was featured in "High Performance Futures Trading" in 1990, "Virtual Trading" and "Artificial Intelligence in the Capital Markets" in 1995, "Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom" and "Trading Chicago Style" in 1999, and "SFO Personal Investor Series: Forex Trading" in 2009.

Mr. Mendelsohn has also been an invited speaker for the annual meeting for the Futures Industry Association, the Futures Symposium International, the Harvard Business School Alumni Club, Futures Truth and the annual meeting of the Association for Investment Management and Research. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and Investor's Business Daily, and he has been interviewed on such networks as CNN, Bloomberg Television and CNBC. A member of the Market Technicians Association since 1988, Mr. Mendelsohn has maintained involvement as a colleague of the International Federation of Technical Analysts and Beta Gamma Sigma.

In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Mendelsohn has accrued several accolades and honors throughout his impressive career. Having been the namesake of the Louis B. Mendelsohn Entrepreneur Award by Dollars for Scholars and Hope High School, he has been recognized as a fellow of the U.S. Public Health Service from 1975 to 1977.
