Mr. Deltuvia has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the information technology industry

JACKSON, NJ, April 10, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present John Deltuvia with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Deltuvia celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Deltuvia serves as a systems and operations analyst and information technology developer in the Administrative Office of the New Jersey Courts, a position he has held since 1999. He previously served as a lead programmer at Dezine Healthcare Solutions from 1997 to 1999, and as an operations analyst and programmer at the Monmouth County Probation Department in Freehold, NJ, from 1988 to 1997. He began his career in the industry as an information technology operations analyst for the New Jersey Division of Public Welfare (now the Division of Family Development) in Trenton, NJ, in 1986.

Mr. Deltuvia received a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems and: Information Technology Project Management from Boston University in 2012. He also graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a Master of Arts in professional studies in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts (1991) in Computer Science. He is recognized for his research in the publication of his thesis, "Preservation of Organizational Knowledge within a Volunteer Organization: A Contextual Explanation and Practical Example." Additionally, Mr. Deltuvia holds an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science (1987) as well as an Associate of Arts degree in Humanities and Mathematics (1982) from Ocean County College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (1985) from Livingston College, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Educational pursuits outside of standard academia have led him to a Diploma in Massage Therapy (2002) from the NJ School of Massage and subsequent licensing by the state of New Jersey to practice as a massage and bodywork therapist. He is also a master Reiki practitioner.

Outside of his career in information technology, Mr. Deltuvia also civically engaged with a number of different organizations. He was a member of the Media Committee of SpiralHeart, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) religious instruction corporation) from 2002–2012, and also served as a member of its board as Director for Media Services from 2003–2006 and again from 2011–2012. Associated with this, he served as the webmaster from 2002–2012 for http://witchcamp.org, a website linking worldwide organizations including SpiralHeart having similar theological practices. He was also a religious instructor at SpiralHeart's family camp, WildChild, in 2009. He also acted as the shop steward of the Local 54 Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union from 1980 to 1985. Furthermore, Mr. Deltuvia was previously active in the church, acting as an officer with the Star Sea Junior Praesidium of the Legion of Mary in Howell, NJ, from 1977 to 1983, a liturgy committee member of the St. Veronica Church (now the Church of Saint Veronica) from 1977 to 1983, and a parish organist at the St. Veronica Church from 1975 to 1983.

Mr. Deltuvia grew up following his father' s footsteps, who as a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Telephone Laboratories, Holmdel, NJ, engineered leading technology in moving telephony from a mechanical to an electronic computer basis. He was practically destined to pursue a career in IT, having punched his first Hollerith card at the age of 3. He attributes his professional success to the way he interprets problems; by approaching problems with a unique perspective, he has developed problem solving skills that allow him to be more efficient and effective. An exemplum of his methodology was his development of an application designed to reduce time spent on a repetitive task by an order of magnitude. The New Jersey Courts coordinates the enforcement of court-ordered payments on a statewide basis, which are sometimes enforced by arrest warrants generated by the 21 field offices statewide. Mr. Deltuvia wrote a desktop application, interfaced with a mainframe system, to generate these documents. It was installed statewide with unique specifications included for each field office and associated Sheriff's Department. The application practically eliminated errors as well as decreasing production time by 90%, freeing at least 30 people statewide to other tasks. All the documents were reviewed and signed by a judge, in accordance with the New Jersey Constitution, but the new standard formatting of the standard formatting of the warrant and associated documents also aided the judges in reviewing each warrant before signing.

Mr. Deltuvia is a member of IEEE, the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society, the IEEE New Jersey Coast Section, the IEEE Communications Society, the IEEE Technical Communications Society, the Project Management Institute, the Association for Transpersonal Psychology, the IEEE Society for Social Implications of Technology, the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, the Association of Humanistic Psychology, the Association for Computing Machinery and the IEEE Computer Society. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the industry, he has been listed in numerous editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, dancing, writing poetry, composing music and general computing.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, John Deltuvia has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
