Anthony John Cedolini, Ph.D., Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Child psychologist Dr. Cedolini, formerly of Educational Associates, a private practice he maintained in San Jose, CA, for more for 34 years, retired recently in 2017. Entering the world of mental health when he was first hired by the Oak Grove School District, also in San Jose, he spent 15 years as a coordinator of psychological services, assistant director and director of pupil services beginning in 1968. A licensed educational psychologist, school administrator, school psychologist, school counselor and marriage, family and child counselor, Dr. Cedolini first earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree from San Jose State University. After extensive research, his book, "Occupational Stress and Job Burnout" was published by Columbia University's Teachers College Press. His book on stress was easily followed by a Ph.D. in educational psychology from Columbia Pacific University.

In addition to contributing nearly 50 years to working with children and their families, Dr. Cedolini also dedicated a lot of his time in other capacities. From 1976 to 1983, he was the co-director of the Biofeedback Institute of Santa Clara County in San Jose. He also served as partner of the Cypress Center of Educational Psychologists and Consultancy, from 1978 to 1984, consultant and program auditor for California State Department of Education, taught courses at the University of California in Santa Cruz and the LaVerne College Extension, and was a guest speaker at Stanford and San Jose State University, and a lecturer and workshop presenter for various other organizations.

The author of the book "A Parent's Guide to School Readiness" published in 1971, Dr. Cedolini also authored "The Effect of Affect" in 1975, and "Occupational Stress and Job Burnout" in 1982. He has a new book due out in 2018, called "Passport---Your Journey to Wit, Wisdom, and Inspiration". Throughout his career, his research in the area of psychology and mental health has also been documented in various professional journals and newspapers as author and co-author throughout his career.

Dr. Cedolini has maintained interest in various organizations outside of the mental health field as well. He was co-founder and on the board of directors for Lyceum of Santa Clara County from 1971 to 2001, where he continues to serve as a consultant. This non-profit organization is self-supporting and relies on parent participation and volunteer educators. It provides afterschool enrichment classes and other opportunities for intellectually gifted children that otherwise might not be available to them. Dr. Cedolini is also affiliated with the Graham Owners Club of California, the Nostalgia Vintage Car Museum and the Italian American Heritage Foundation.

Well-known in his community for his success in real estate and entrepreneurship for many years, Dr. Cedolini is a licensed broker who owns numerous local commercial properties, including several shopping centers. He is also the longtime founder and partner of Cienega Valley Vineyards and DeRose Winery (formerly Almaden Vineyards). Married to his wife Clare Marie De Rose since 1964 with three children, he enjoys collecting coins and antiques, classic cars, woodcarvings, travel and wine making. He has been included in countless editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare and Who's Who in the World. He also has been acknowledged in the publication "Outstanding Teachers in Exceptional Education".
