John Haldon, Ph.D., Celebrates 35 Years of Practiced Industry Experience in Education

Dr. Haldon co-authored such books as "The Empire That Would Not Die: The Paradox of Eastern Roman Survival"



Dr. Haldon serves as a professor of European history at Princeton University, where he has also taught Byzantine history and Hellenic studies.

    PRINCETON, NJ, April 10, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John Haldon, Ph.D., has been included in Marquis Who's Who. He has worked at the University's Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Iran and Persian Gulf Studies as director. Over the course of his career, he has also lent his expertise to the Association Internationale des Etudes Byzantines, the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and the University of Birmingham. He continues to act as Director of the Climate Change & History Research Initiative, a multinational interdisciplinary collaboration examining the nature of pre-modern societal resilience and adaptation to environmental and related stresses.

An expert in his field, Dr. Haldon holds a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy. His professional affiliations include the Australian Academy of Science and the Archeological Institute of America, both of which he maintains a connection with in order to keep abreast of industry changes. Throughout his career, he has authored and co-authored more than two dozen books, including "The Empire That Would Not Die: The Paradox of Eastern Roman Survival," "Byzantium in the Iconoclast Era: A History" and "A Critical Commentary on the Taktika of Leo VI."
