In 1971, she earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado and while building her business she completed her professional designation of ChFC, Chartered Financial Consultant, from the prestigious American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Looking back, Ms. Peacock reflects on her early career living and working in the state of Wyoming. "There was a small population base there with which to develop my business and women business owners in my field were very rare," she begins, adding that it would have been easy for her to give up her pursuits and to have settled for a more predictable career path especially in light of the forever changing mineral base of the economy in Rock Springs, Wyoming,." But she was very specific about what she wanted to accomplish. "When you have a goal in your mind, when you have an ideal, you just aspire toward that ideal," she says. Ms. Peacock loves seeing people thrive. It gives her great pleasure to learn the nuances of insurance and investments to explain to clients how they might financially invest for prosperity.
