GYEONGGI-DO, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, June 18, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sahng Hyuck Woo has been included in Marquis Who's Who in the World. With many years of industry experience to his credit, Mr. Woo has worked as a research engineer for development on membrane electrode assembly and fuel cell stack used in hydrogen electric vehicles at the ARMINES/PERSEE (Centre Procédés Energies Renouvelables et Systèmes Energétiques) since 2016. ARMINES is one of the nonprofit research institutions in France. Prior to this appointment, he was a research engineer for the Yonsei Institute of Green Technology from 2012 to 2014. Previously, Mr. Woo completed service with the Republic of Korea Army from 2007 to 2009.
Whilst embarking on his professional path, Mr. Woo pursued an education at MINES ParisTech, currently completing a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree in the Department of Energy and Process Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Arnaud Rigacci and Dr. Christian Beauger since 2016. MINES ParisTech is one of France's most prominent engineering schools (i.e., Grandes Écoles), and it belongs to the Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL) which has 26 Nobel Prize and 10 Fields Medal winners.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Woo has participated in numerous endeavors in his professional circles. He has found much success with his written works, having contributed articles and scientific papers to such esteemed publications with Prof. Byoung Ryul Min, great chemical engineer in Republic of Korea. He also holds a patent for a preparation method of the polymer membrane with enhancement of antifouling characteristics in the Republic of Korea. In addition to his primary trade, Mr. Woo remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise, including the ASCOF (Association des Scientifiques Coréens en France) since 2017.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Woo has accrued several accolades and honors throughout his impressive career. In 2014, he was recognized as a Fellow Scholar by Yonsei University, Republic of Korea. Most recently, Mr. Woo was honored as a Fellow Scholar of the MINES ParisTech – PSL, France in 2016.
