Terrie Frankel Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

An author, composer and playwright, Ms. Frankel began her career in the arts and entertainment business at the age of 6 along with her identical twin sister Jennie. Best known for their Doublemint Gum commercials in the mid-sixties, the twins also traveled oversees together as entertainers with the United Service Organization (USO) in Vietnam during 1968. Since that time, Terrie and Jennie performed in Hollywood at the Comedy Store and Improv and became New York Times bestselling authors of "You'll Never Make Love in This Town Again" in 1996. Ms. Frankel authored and co-authored various other works, including "Tales From the Casting Couch" and the original musical titled "Dorothy Parker's Room Enough For Two."

Earning a scholarship to attend the Chicago Music College of Roosevelt University, Ms. Frankel studied at the university before continuing her education at both the University of Hawaii and the University of Hong Kong. During her time in Hong Kong, she was employed with Chase Compton Advertising and learned to speak both Mandarin and Cantonese.

Ms. Frankel co-founded the Producers Guild of America Awards (Golden Laurel Awards) and spent over a decade as senior editor of the Producers Guild of America's "POV Magazine" ("The Industry Magazine"), which she co-founded with producing partner, Diane Robison. In addition, during her longtime commitment as a member of the Producers Guild of America, Terrie served two terms on the organization's board of directors. Affiliated as a member of the Recording Academy, which oversees the GRAMMY AWARDS, she is a former member of the Desert Chapter of the Circumnavigator's Club, a lifetime associate member of the Marine Corps League, Sedona Detachment #1237, and member of the Verde Valley Military Service Park Committee. Ms. Frankel continues in her efforts as a filmmaker and public speaker and remains active on behalf of servicemen and veterans.

The recipient of a Diane Jones Woman of the Year Award and C.C. Porter Award of Compassion in 2016, Ms. Frankel also received a Vietnam Veterans of America President's Award for Excellence in the Arts in 2014, which has previously been bestowed on: Raquel Welsh, Nancy Sinatra, Johnny Rivers and Bob Hope. Furthermore, she has served as an Honorary Commander of both the 944th Aeromedical Staging Squadron and 944th Medical Squadron with the U.S. Air Force at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.
