For more than two decades, Dr. Hill has excelled in the field of music. At the inception of her career, she worked as Assistant Director of Bands for the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township and Yorktown High School. Subsequently, she became the Education Coordinator for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Over the years, Dr. Hill has been a presenter at national music conferences on behalf of the National Association for Music Education and the American String Teacher's Association, and she has served as guest conductor for Western Kentucky University and Murray State University as well as Regional Honor Orchestras in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky.

Currently, Dr. Hill works with Graves County High School as Conductor and Orchestra Director. In a career filled with highlights, she is most proud of spreading her love of string music to this area. Since she began teaching, she and her students have played on some of the largest stages in the country, including a few performances for the United Nations.

An expert in her field, Dr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Music Education in music education from Butler University, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Murray State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy from The Ohio State University, which has been another highlight in her professional life. With a plethora of industry knowledge and experience at her disposal, she has contributed to "Top Ten Violin Method Books," which was printed in the American String Teacher's Journal, where she also serves as a reviewer.

For her outstanding work, Dr. Hill was nominated for the Grammy Music Education Award and earned The Ledder Award for Outstanding Music Graduate Student, as well as the John R. Wooden Excellence in Education Award. Professional publications such as Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who Among American High School Teachers have also recognized her for her musical excellence. In the near future, Dr. Hill intends to experience the continued success of her career.
