Prior to his current role, he was a partner with Battle Fowler LLP from 1995 to 2000 and a partner with Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hayes & Handler from 1989 to 1995. Earlier in his career, he was an associate and partner with Carro, Spanbock, Fass, Geller, Kaster & Cuiffo from 1961 to 1986.
Mr. Fass began his career as a student at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in economics, with honors, in 1958. He continued his studies at Harvard University Law School, completing a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, in 1961. He then studied at New York University, where he earned a Master of Laws in 1964. Mr. Fass has been admitted to practice law in the state of New York, and he is a certified public accountant.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Mr. Fass has been an active leader in his community. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also been a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi.
Throughout his career, Mr. Fass has been recognized for his contributions, including having received the Haskins Award for Outstanding Achievement in the New York State CPA Exam.
