Earlier in his career, he served to sergeant in the U.S. Air Force before joining Welded Tube Company and working as manager of engineering, manager of operations, assistant vice president and vice president. The biggest highlight of his career was at a crossroads in his life. He had the decision to go to another company or stay with Welded Tube Company and chose to stay, which has since led to an array of accomplishments.
After leaving the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Alligood studied at the University of Georgia, the University of California, Los Angeles, and California State University, Los Angeles. In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, he maintains affiliation with the Lake Calumet Sanitary Association, the Association of Iron and Steel Engineers, and the International Tube Association. Looking toward the future, Mr. Alligood intends to continue parlaying his knowledge of the field to others in his roles for the Welded Tube Company.
