In this role, I would like to communicate the immense importance of IT auditing and security to help stakeholders achieve their business goals.

NEW YORK, NY, February 05, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Over the past several years Sam Vohra, CEO at CompCiti Business Solutions Inc. has been an engaged entrepreneur in the IT and cybersecurity community of New York City. Sam has taken key interest in connecting with cybersecurity counterparts to gain, exchange and spread insight on industry trends, threats and best practices. With this aspiration, Sam became a member of ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter, in 2016. ISACA is a not-for-profit association leading in establishing best practices, ethics and standards for information systems professionals.

Throughout 2017-18, Sam has volunteered for the Chapter at various events and educational activities to support Chapter's knowledge-sharing and certification initiatives. While staying an active member, Sam took advantage of ISACA's various certification and learning program to expand his industry expertise. He earned his Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certifications from ISACA in 2017.

In the role of Membership Committee Co-chair, Sam would be primarily responsible to drive Chapter's membership program, facilitate member on-boarding and enhance member engagement. Sam sees this responsibility as an excellent opportunity to further his reach to engage with the tech community. On his responsibility and vision for this role, Sam said, "IT security is commonly associated with firewalls, antivirus software, IPS, IDS, UAT, DRBC, and the like. Assessment, however, is often neglected, especially by SMBs. Auditing information systems' infrastructure is paramount in preservation of systems' integrity, reliability, and availability. In this role, I would like to communicate the immense importance of IT auditing and security to help stakeholders achieve their business goals."

On Sam's appointment as the Membership Committee Co-chair, Alexander Abramov, President of ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter, said, "I've met Sam Vohra in 2017 at one of our Membership meetings where he had reached out to me and has offered to volunteer for the Chapter. For almost a year Sam has been helping us with variety of activities by lending his expertise for tasks large and small. When I needed to appoint a new Board Director, I have chosen to nominate Sam. Upon joining the Board, I've asked Sam to take a role of the Co-Chair of Membership Committee. Sam's technology expertise, executive experience, and leadership qualities made him a great fit for this mission critical role. I wish Sam much success as the Board Member and the Membership Committee Co-Chair."
