HUDSON, OH, March 13, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Richard E. Gerbracht with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Gerbracht celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

In 1954, Mr. Gerbracht earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame, following this accomplishment with postgraduate work at Harvard University's Advanced Management Program. He started out with the Interpublic Group of Companies, where he worked from 1954 to 1974, and also served as executive vice president and general manager of McCann-Erickson from 1967 to 1973. As his career progressed, Mr. Gerbracht served Interpublic as vice president, McCann-Erikson Europe as senior vice president and area manager, the Griswold-Eshleman Company as chairman and chief executive officer, and Gerbracht & Company as principal owner. He was also president of Mintz & Hoke, Inc., until his retirement in 1990.

Mr. Gerbracht was initially inspired to pursue advertising when his sister entered the business in 1944. Drawing upon enlightenment from such figures as Frank A. Kolb, he started out as a mail boy and impressively climbed through the ranks in his chosen industry. In addition to his primary professional accomplishments, Mr. Gerbracht served with the United States Naval Reserve for 10 years.

Demonstrating considerable professional expertise, Mr. Gerbracht was a speaker at the Vatican to an audience of 3,000 in 2000, where he delivered the speech "Grandparents in Children's Formation." He was also the first recipient of the Robert E. Healy Award for branch management success in 1973. In light of his professional contributions, Mr. Gerbracht was honored in the 24th edition of Who's Who in Finance and Industry, as well as the 44th through 46th editions of Who's Who in America.
