Hak Hotta, PhD, Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Currently an emeritus professor at the Kobe University School of Medicine, where Dr. Hak Hottahas served since 1994, he started out as a physician at Osaka University Hospital in 1974.

After earning a Doctor of Medicine from Osaka University in Japan in 1974, Dr. Hotta went on to earn a doctorate in medical science from Kobe University in Japan in 1985. Currently an emeritus professor at the Kobe University School of Medicine, where he has served since 1994, he started out as a physician at Osaka University Hospital in 1974. As his career progressed, Dr. Hotta worked for the Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya Hospital in Japan from 1975 to 1977, becoming initially involved with the Kobe University School of Medicine as a research associate in 1977 and serving in this capacity until 1987.

Continuing at the Kobe University School of Medicine, Dr. Hotta went on to work as an assistant professor and an associate professor before attaining his current position. He notably wrote "Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease" in 1994, demonstrating his knowledgeability in his field. A celebrated member of his medical academia, Dr. Hotta has also contributed several articles to professional journals.

Dr. Hotta belongs to the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Japanese Cancer Association, the Japanese Society for Bacteriology and the Japanese Society for Immunology. He also maintains affiliation with the Japanese Society for Virology and the American Society for Microbiology.

In light of his exceptional accomplishments in the medical industry, Dr. Hotta was honored in the first and second editions of Who's Who in Asia and the second and third editions of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare. He was also featured in several editions of Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the World.
