PALMDALE, CA, April 04, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Paulette Martin with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Martin celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Martin is a highly regarded professional in the computer science field known for her integrity, passion and her persistent drive to always do more. Her career began in 1973 as a secretary to the comptroller at Woodruff Hospital in Cleveland. Her typing skills were beyond that of many of her peers and she felt that it came naturally to her. Ms. Martin was a well-rounded secretary whose professionalism brought her to her next few roles as district office personnel clerk, secretary for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and secretary for Sinclair College in Dayton, Ohio.

As Ms. Martin's career progressed, so did her interest in computers and she found that not only was she good at administrative tasks, but fixing computers came naturally to her as well. Focusing on her education, she earned an Associate of Business and Associate of Arts from Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland in 1981, followed by a Bachelor's Degree of Arts and Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of General Studies in computer science, music and business from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, in 1987, and a Master of Science in administration from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant in 1990. She is also a certified online instructor in software applications. Eager to fully immerse herself in the business world, Ms. Martin found success in early roles as a computer systems program analyst with the Defense Electronics Supply Center and as a software engineer for the Scientific Applications International Corp. in Dayton, Ohio.

Ms. Martin is known for her expertise in program management, test and evaluation, theory of constraints and defense systems. Notable roles in her career include senior information engineer with Maden Technologies in Dayton, Ohio, principal member of the technical staff with Century Technologies, computer scientist and legislative liaison for the Federal Managers Association, Chapter 104. She even spent some time as a government civilian at an air force base working as a base wide administrator for computer systems purchases. To remain at the top of her field, Ms. Martin has been very involved in the International Women's Leadership Association and the Red Hat Society Inc.

Outside of her professional work, Ms. Martin loves to pursue projects surrounding civic and religious causes. She is the chief executive officer and co-founder of the Joy to Nurture non-profit organization. She is also a published author, national gospel recording artist, psalmist and songwriter. In December 2018, she published "Journey of a Nurturer: Learning to Heal from the Inside Out." Ms. Martin is most proud of this publication as the book takes the reader through her childhood to today.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Ms. Martin has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
