Supported by many years of practiced experience in her field, Ms. Raynor currently excels as a special education teacher with the Essex Community School District. At the beginning of her career, she served as a legal secretary for John Kosmas & John Greene, and Smith, Biggins, Bollman & Mogilner. Following these appointments, she worked in an administrative capacity for Centre City Hospital and the Waubonsie Mental Health Center & Farmer Assistance Project before focusing her efforts on special education. Over the years, Ms. Raynor was also co-owner and Vice President of Clarinda Home Medical, and was additionally appointed as an inaugural member of the Iowa Behavior Initiative for three years.

An expert in her field, Ms. Raynor has earned an Associate of Arts from San Diego Mesa Community College, a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University (in addition to completing a five year teacher education program) and a Master of Science in education from Northwest Missouri State University. While a Graduate Assistant aat NWMSU, she taught Pre-School, Cognitive-Oriented Kindergarten, and the After-School Program. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she is affiliated with the Iowa Education Association, the National Education Association, the American Association of University Women as well as the Bedford Community School Education Association, where she served as the Grievance Committee Chairman for the school year 1997-1998. Additionally, after teaching at the Essex Community School District, she also served as the President of the Essex Community School Education Association. Ms. Raynor also taught Sunday School for five years at her local church, in addition to summer Vacation Bible School. During her spare time, Ms. Raynor contributes to her community as a co-leader of the Clover K-9's 4-H Project Club in Page County, IA, for many years. Not only did this address dog training for conformation and obedience, but community service that acknowledged their police department, fire departments, and hospitals located in Clarinda and Shenandoah, IA.

Although her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Raynor is especially proud of working alongside parents to better her students' education .For her professional excellence, she was selected for inclusion in three volumes of Who's Who in America and one edition of Who's Who in the Midwest. Looking toward the future, Ms. Raynor intends to experience the continued success of her career in special education.
