Kaleidoscope Hair Products Founder, Jesseca Dupart, Honored By Mayor LaToya Cantrell For Her Continuous Strides In Philanthropy and Community Service

On May 20, 2019, Mayor LaToya Cantrell alongside Superintendent Shaun Ferguson greeted Jesseca with the honorary "Key To The City of New Orleans" to applaud the imprint that she continues to shape within the city as a thriving business mogul.

    NEW ORLEANS, LA, May 31, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The recommendation came from the New Orleans Police Department in a communication to the office of the Mayor on the efforts consistently instilled by Jesseca Dupart in the community. During the honorary ceremony, the Mayor and the Superintendent spoke on some of her generous contributions dedicated to the city of New Orleans over the last several years.

Expressed in her speech, Mayor Cantrell added "This key truly represents our city. It is a reflection of who we are as a city. Whether you see the horn or the lamp post…and that light that you see represents you. And only light can shine out darkness wherever it is, and we need your light. So, thank you for allowing it to shine on our people and our department as a whole."

These contributions include a partnership with the NOPD established in December 2017 where Ms. Dupart purchased over 500 bicycles for the less fortunate children in the city, the following year Jesseca partnered with Ms. Raynell Steward (Crayon Case Cosmetics) in buying out the Mercedes Benz Superdome for their inaugural #NolaChristmas and purchased over 5,000 toys for families, and this month the mogul has committed a budget of $50,000 targeting activation with the Municipal Training Academy with the need to ensure the police officer recruiters are properly fit for duty and training. This initiative will be for high quality commercial gym equipment from Fitness Expo to outfit the NOPD recruiting division to foster a positive output of exceptional officers in the making for the city of New Orleans.
