With more than 45 years of professional experience, Ms. Kryshtalowych was a partner with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey (now known as Squire Patton Boggs) from 1989 to 2013, having been a managing partner in the firm's Ukraine office from 1992 to 2008 and an associate in their Cleveland office from 1980 to 1989. After retiring from Squire Patton Boggs, she was a legal consultant for the Cleveland Clinic in 2014. From 1973 to 1980, she was a counselor at Chagrin Falls High School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and from 1970 to 1973, she was a psychiatric social worker with Fallsview Mental Health Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Earlier in her career, she was an English teacher at East Technical High School in Cleveland, Ohio from 1967 to 1969.
Ms. Kryshtalowych first pursued an education at the Ohio State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in 1967. She continued her studies at Kent State University, completing a Master of Education, magna cum laude, in 1970. She then entered Cleveland State University, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude, in 1980. She has been admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio, as well as before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
A respected voice in her areas of interest, Ms. Kryshtalowych has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. She was a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar Association, and the Ukrainian American Bar Association. A past trustee of the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeast Ohio, she is a former director of the Ukrainian Museum Archives and, presently, a director at the Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation. She is a lifelong member of Plast, the Ukrainian scouting organization.
In light of her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Kryshtalowych has accrued several accolades. Recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Telecommunications by the Guide to the World's Leading Technology, Media and Telecommunications Lawyers, she was also ranked third by Chambers Global for The World's Leading Lawyers in 2007. Likewise, she was named one of the 10 Prominent Women Lawyers in Ukraine by Legal Practice. Further, she has been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
