Jane Moosbruker, PhD, Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    ACTON, MA, July 26, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Jane Moosbruker, PhD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Moosbruker celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. Dr. Moosbruker retired from consulting in organizational development after nearly 40 years of professional excellence. Through utilizing her expertise in applied social psychology, she assisted many organizations in weathering difficult periods of transition. Initially involved in higher education, she was affiliated with both Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Boston College as an Asst. Professor in the Dept. of Psychology. At the latter she started a very successful Leadership Training Program, and was a very popular teacher.

She was subsequently associated with the Harvard School of Dental Medicine as a Research Associate, and soon accepted the role of Lecturer, a position she maintained until 1982. After teaching full time at Boston College Dr. Moosbruker was driven to apply her psychological skills to something she found more personal satisfying: consulting in the field of organizational development. She was aided in this work by her membership In "NTL", the National Training Laboratories Institute of Applied Behavioral Science. There she conducted Human Relations Training (T-Groups) and taught "Facilitating and Managing Complex Systems Change" to participants from all over the world.

Dr. Moosbruker's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Adelphi University, a Master of Arts from Radcliffe College and finally, her Doctor of Philosophy in Social Psychology from Harvard University's Social Relations Department in GSAS.

Over time she garnered a laudable reputation consulting with many organizations, including Honeywell Aerospace and Defense Systems and Research Center, the Harvard Community Health Plan, Nashua Memorial Hospital, Biogen, Inc., BOSE Corp., Digital Equipment Corp. and many others. Her work included everything from assisting in the development of over 100 management teams, to facilitating systems level changes in many different industries. Following her involvement with American University as practicum director in the MSOD Program, Dr. Moosbruker fully retired in 2008.

In the course of her professional pursuits, Dr. Moosbruker wrote prolifically, e.g., "O.D. with a Community Mental Health Center: A Case of Building Structures Patiently", pub. In Group and Org. Studies, and co-authoring "Forgotten Elements: Including Structure and Process in Recovery Efforts" with Devra Kleiman, published in Endangered Species Updates. She has also contributed many other articles to professional journals and books in her field. She maintains membership in a number of societies and organizations pertinent to her interests and expertise, such as the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues and the Union of Concerned Scientists. Additionally, Dr. Moosbruker is deeply involved in conservation activism, lending her time to conservation trusts and local "green" organizations.
