Robert Bocchino Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Bocchino has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the fields of marketing, communications and entertainment



    HAVERFORD, PA, September 09, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mr. Bocchino, director of the alumni board at the Temple University College of Liberal Arts since 1994, has enjoyed an interesting career in communications, consulting and marketing for more than 40 years. Mr. Bocchino served as a writer, producer and announcer for both radio and television spots. He has worked for major corporate clients, prominent private schools and business organizations on audio visual, direct marketing and public relations projects. Further, Mr. Bocchino devoted several years as a freelance reporter for NBC news and performed as a television commercial and movie actor.

A graduate of St. Joseph's Preparatory School in 1955, Mr. Bocchino later received a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in 1964 and Master of Business Administration in 1973. From 1996 through 1998 He participated in poetry acting and also musical theater classes at HB Studio, a non-profit acting school in New York City. He then privately studied vocal development technique with Dr. Michael Warren followed by song acting technique with David Brunetti both in New York City.

A few years ago, Mr. Bocchino released two well received easy listening vocal albums of legacy American standards: "Songs to Remember" and "Songs to Remember Vol. II." He has been affiliated with prominent professional organizations as membership committee of the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He was also a member of The New York New Media Association. He is also a long time member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, where he has served on the New York local oncamera commercial performers committee and New York national telecommunications committee.

Locally involved, Mr. Bocchino formerly served on the board directors of America's oldest surviving botanic garden-Bartram's Garden and spent time on the board of directors of the former Main Line YMCA in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. He is a member and former treasurer of the Haverford Civic Association.

Mr. Bocchino was named a lifetime member and Hall of Fame awardee of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce in 1978. A celebrated Marquis listee, he has been featured in several editions of Who's Who in Entertainment, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the Media and Communication, and Who's Who in the World.
