Mrs. Georgia Reif Dryfoose taught Kindergarten and Second grade students in the Ohio and Indiana public school systems.

A retired elementary school educator of more than 33 years, Mrs. Dryfoose taught Kindergarten and Second grade students in the Ohio and Indiana public school systems. Teaching in the Cincinnati Public Schools and Oak Hills School District in Ohio between 1964 and 1970, she was subsequently hired by the Brown County School Corporation in Nashville in 1970, with which she was affiliated until her retirement. Additionally, Mrs. Dryfoose was a Head Teacher for Operation Head Start and a member of the Cincinnati Public Schools curriculum revision committee and the Brown County School Corporation curriculum committee.
Involved with a broad range of civic organizations, Mrs. Dryfoose has been a member of the Young Republican Club and a House Chairman of the Mariemont Players, Inc., in Cincinnati. She is also a founding member of the Brown County Community Theatre and a member and a former board director of the Brown County Historical Society. Since retiring, Mrs. Dryfoose became a member of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. She is also a member of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, Phi Delta Kappa, and Delta Zeta.
Before beginning her professional journey, Mrs. Dryfoose pursued an education in order to prepare herself for the role she would come to inhabit. She first attended the University of Cincinnati, at which she acquired a Bachelor of Science in Kindergarten-Primary Education in 1964. Returning to college years later, she completed a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education at Indiana University in 1980.
The recipient of a Teacher of the Year Award for the academic school year between 1964 and 1965. Mrs. Dryfoose has likewise been recognized as a celebrated Marquis listee. She has been featured in nearly a dozen editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the Midwest and Who's Who of American Women. Happily married to her late husband of more than 46 years, Earl Daniel Dryfoose, Mrs. Dryfoose's avocations include reading, traveling, and the study of Native American folklore and traditions.
