Having accrued over nine years of experience in her chosen field, Mrs. Fulford has garnered a lauded reputation as the program director and director of integrated care management for Indiana University Health Academic Health Center since 2015. Previously, she held numerous other positions in affiliation with Indiana University Health, such as a registered nurse at Bloomington Hospital between 2012 and 2013, a case manager from 2013 to 2014, and a case manager team lead from 2014 until 2016, whereupon she began her present specialization in integrated care management in 2016. Outside of her primary career endeavors, Mrs. Fulford excelled as a nursing assistant at Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson United School Corporation, and contributes her time and resources to Habitat for Humanity, mentoring and educating.
Before embarking upon her professional journey, Mrs. Fulford pursued an education at the University of Southern Indiana, earning a Bachelor of Science in 2011. She subsequently continued her studies at Indiana Wesleyan University, from which she obtained a Master of Business Administration in 2016. Likewise, Mrs. Fulford graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2016.
Mrs. Fulford harbored an aspiration to become a nurse ever since she perused a job fair in middle school. She was exposed to the routine responsibilities inherent in nursing, and was inspired to begin studying so she could enter the field herself. She attributes her success to her innate drive, as well as the great mentors and preceptors she has had who provided her with a wealth of inspiration and information which equipped her for whatever challenge lay ahead. Looking forward to the future, Mrs. Fulford hopes to be involved in a state-wide nursing role which will present her with a better perspective on how to care for patients.
