Suzanne M. Rechtzigel Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Rechtzigel has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the field of child care

ALBERT LEA, MN, October 29, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Suzanne M. Rechtzigel with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Rechtzigel celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With over 50 years of professional expertise to her credit, Ms. Rechtzigel has flourished as the owner and director of Lakeside Daycare in Albert Lea since 1983. Previously, she served as a freelance child caretaker in Albert Lea from 1973 to 1978. Furthermore, she dedicated her time as an assistant for the Hawthorne School of Learning Center and as an artist, art teacher, board member and secretary for the Albert Lea Art Center.

Prior to her accomplished career in child care, Ms. Rechtzigel pursued an education at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and sociology in 1969. Following this time, she spent four years as an insurance representative for State Farm Insurance Co. in Albert Lea before entering her chosen field. She is licensed in child care in the state of Minnesota.

Alongside her primary responsibilities, Ms. Rechtzigel has devoted much time to her community. Currently a member of the New Residents and Newcomers Organization in Albert Lea, she was active as teacher for various Bible and Sunday schools between 1976 and 1985. She was also an active member of the Ascension Lutheran Church from 1976 to 1980 and a past president and assistant of the pre-school at the United Methodist Church of Albert Lea from 1975 to 1978.

Ms. Rechtzigel has achieved much over her career and is particularly proud of being featured in a local newspaper with a full-page article about her accomplishments in child care, art and teaching. Above everything, however, she feels that the most gratifying aspect of her career is working with children and teaching them how to grow both emotionally and intellectually. One of her main goals in life is to instill a passion for learning in the children she teaches. This is one of the reasons she takes such joy in teaching art, because there is such endless creativity when it comes to art.

An accomplished artist in her own right, Ms. Rechtzigel has had her paintings featured in the permanent collections of the Albert Lea Public Library and the United Methodist Church of Albert Lea. She has also been involved with the Albert Lea Art Center clubs and the Albert Lea Family YMCA. Furthermore, in an effort to remain up to date with developments in her areas of interest, she maintains affiliation with the Freeborn Licensed Day Care Association, the American Association of University Women, and the Business and Professional Women's Foundation.

Born to Carl Stinson Miller and Muriel Agnes Oestrich, Ms. Rechtzigel is the proud mother of two children, Brian Carl and Lori Ann. Additionally, she is the grandmother of five wonderful grandchildren: Adam Grace, Jeff, Zack, Tyler and Collin. In her free time, she enjoys ceramics, calligraphy, painting, art and sewing.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Ms. Rechtzigel has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
