Diane Marie Foster, MEd's patience and tenacity have contributed to her excellence as a teacher, and her love for psychology has helped her understand and advocate for her students.

Ms. Foster dedicated decades to enriching the lives of others as a teacher, a math specialist, a psychological examiner, a school psychologist and a tax preparer. Her most recent educational undertakings included serving as an elementary teacher and math tutor at Camp Happy Day in 2000. In addition to these responsibilities, she worked as an income tax preparer for H&R Block and assistant manager for Liberty Tax as well as a preparer. She set up the entire online computer system and became an expert in its tax software. In addition, she was the specialist who prepared the Missouri Circuit Breaker Property Tax Credit for the elderly from 1999 to 2001. Moreover, Ms. Foster served the Valley Park School District in Missouri as an elementary school counselor from 1980 to 1998 and a classroom teacher from 1968 to 1980.
Ms. Foster has provided her time and talents to the aforementioned school district as a student council sponsor from 1980 to 1986, part time administrative assistant in Valley Park Junior High School in 1983 and 1984, and a special education entitlement writer from 1982 to 1985. She was also active as a Sunday school teacher for both Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for Ballas Baptist Chapel from 1963 to 1968, Manchester Heights Church from 1977 to 1978 and Kirkwood Baptist Church form 1981 to 1986. She was church clerk in 1968, and sang in the choir and performed duets and solos numerous times. From 1966 to 1968 while in college, she worked part time in a small grocery store where she learned how to slice meat in the deli, fill the soda machine and work as the cashier. Furthermore, Ms. Foster has found success as a grant writer for Valley Park School District since 1980 despite retiring from full-time professional activity in 1998.
In addition to her love for education, Ms. Foster also enjoys psychology and the counseling aspect of the field. Her patience and tenacity have contributed to her excellence as a teacher, and her love for psychology has helped her understand and advocate for her students. Ms. Foster initially became interested in psychology when she befriended people from her church, including a Sunday school teacher. The Sunday school teacher worked as a counselor to hospice patients and families and inspired her to learn more about psychology. She became aware of how the science of psychology was evident in the Bible.
Attending a course in neurology and learning, the course's instructor notably quoted Ms. Foster in a textbook that was later published entitled Neurology and Learning. She was a guest speaker in 1992 at Webster University in a psychology class; her topic was Carl Rogers. Due to her knowledge of psychology and expertise in counseling, she is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American School Counselor Association. To prepare for her work as an educator, she earned an Associate of Arts from Meramec Junior College in 1966, a Bachelor of Arts from Webster College in 1968, and a Master of Education from the University of Missouri in 1975. She continued taking graduate courses in psychology and learning and testing for a total of 90 graduate hours over her MEd. (MEd. Plus 90 hours) between 1975 and 2000. As a testament to her success, Ms. Foster has been featured in the sixth edition of Who's Who in American Education and the 19th and 25th editions of Who's Who of American Women.
