Clinton, PhD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Rev. Rev. Dr. Clinton, a celebrated religious leader of more than five decades, has been aligned with Vision Orlando for the past 27 years. Selected by the organization in 1992 to serve on the board of directors, he since began serving as the president since 2012. A Christian organization of community and ministry leaders, Vision Orlando's mission is to pray for every person in greater Orlando, care for the needs of the hurting and share with everyone the gift of eternal life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to his commitment to the organization, Rev. Dr. Clinton has been affiliated with The Orlando Institute as the president since 1991 and a professor of education and religion since 1992. The Institute is notably an evangelical education and training institute of theology and ministry that equips men and women for service to Jesus Christ through leadership.

With a tenure in education and religious services that dates to 1965, Rev. Dr. Clinton contributed for the first 10 years of his career as a pastor in Presbyterian and Baptist churches throughout Illinois, Kansas and Florida. He subsequently served further in academia as a director and associate professor at the International School of Theology, the director of the Doctor of Education program at Iberia-American University, and the director of the International Leadership Council. Furthermore, Rev. Dr. Clinton held teaching appointments at Belhaven College, the Moody Bible Institute, the University of Phoenix, Valencia Community College, Asbury Theological Seminary and, since 2013, Florida Polytechnic University.

Involved with several nonprofit organizations, Rev. Dr. Clinton is a former chairman of the board of directors for Masterlife International and the past president of Ministry Development, Inc. He was a board member of American All Stars in 2000. Rev. Dr. Clinton served on various committees as well, including as a member of the Committee on Distance Education the 21st Century through the Florida Department of Education and as the chairman of the board of directors for the Center for Individuals with Disabilities in San Bernardino, California. More recently, he was active on the board of directors of the Maitland Chamber of Commerce between 2002 and 2018.

Rev. Dr. Clinton initiated and helped establish four graduate schools overseas in the Philippines, Africa, Latin America, and Singapore. He consulted with 15 other overseas schools and with the National Accrediting Association of Ecuador in 1997. He served as liaison between Valencia Community College, Orlando, FL and Valencia Technical University in Valencia, Spain to help create shared programs, faculty, and resources in 2005. He later served as a consultant to the Russian Federal Department of Social Studies to rewrite their foundational values for Social Studies Education in 1992 and was directly involved with training 1200 public school teachers in three different Russian cities through the International Schools Consortium in 1990-91. He served as chairman of the planning committee for a Ph.D. in Leadership for the International Leadership University in Africa from 2009 to 2011. He chaired a California Committee on Gifted Education and helped write and get passed a new bill for $60M.

Highly educated, Rev. Dr. Clinton received a Master of Philosophy in 1969 and a Master of Divinity in 1970 at the Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology at the California Graduate School of Theology in 1979. He later completed a post-doctoral program in Philosophy at the University of California, Riverside between 1985 and 1987, a Master of Arts in Counseling at the International School of Theology in 1987, a Master of Arts in Education at California State University in 1988, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education at the University of California, Riverside in 1997. He was ordained to ministry through the Evangelical Free Church of America in 1973 and is a certified gifted education teacher in the state of California.

Among his professional affiliations, Rev. Dr. Clinton is a member, past president and former editor of the Evangelical Philosophical Society, a member and former two-time chairman of the Evangelical Theological Society and a member of the Evangelical Free Church Ministerial Association and the Philosophy of Education Society. A gifted writer, he has authored close to 40 papers including "The Doctrine of the Christian Life" in 1981, "Movements Which Changed History" in 1993 and "Transformational Educational Leadership" in 2005. Rev. Dr. Clinton has authored approximately 100 articles in various publications and is a former 17-year editor of Philosophia Christi, a biannual, peer-reviewed, academic journal published by the Evangelical Philosophical Society.
