ATLANTIC CITY, NJ, January 08, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John Mulhern, an accomplished jazz guitarist, songwriter, producer and engineer, is bringing his talent to Bucks County Community College in January offering two (2) Master Songwriting Workshops. The sessions are Saturday January 11th and 18th, 2020 from 11 am to 2 pm at the college's Newtown campus.
Attendees will learn songwriting including the latest techniques used by today's legendary song-writers. A component of each Master Workshop Session will be an introduction of various cloud software programs like MasterWriter™ and Pro Tools™ used at major recording studios by top song writers and recording artists. David Foster, John Legend and every other major writer of today's music uses these songwriting programs to write and produce their music.
Mulhern's musical talents took shape in his parent's basement in Bristol Borough when he was growing-up in the 60s and 70s. Mulhern engineered and produced infamous Bucks County musicians and bands including Danny DeGennaro and The Torpedos from this location working with Dave Uosikkinen best known for being a founding member of the rock band The Hooters. Mulhern established himself as "the guitarist" for Sarah Vaughn, Harry Connick, Jr and comics including Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno during their Atlantic City appearances and other east coast performances.
Mulhern's commitment to his craft continues to grow and evolve. A protégé of Philadelphia's jazz guitar legend, Pat Martino, Mulhern regularly leads songwriting teams at New York City and Philadelphia recording studios.
He has collaborated with infamous recording engineers including Joe Tarsia with Izzi Records, and formerly at the iconic Sigma Sound Studios, and often conducts songwriting sessions and guitar seminars at New York City's exclusive D'Angelico Guitar Showroom. Mulhern also finds time to serve as a Board Member of the Danny DeGennaro Foundation (www.dannydegennaro.org), a co-sponsor of these song writing workshops.
