Ms. Lang has been involved in ministry and community social services for the duration of her career, but considers her current work for the West Street Baptist Church to be the highlight of her career.
Since 1978, Ms. Lang has been the chief executive officer of the West Street Baptist Church. She is responsible for managing bookkeeping and financial duties, as well as creating enrichment and outreach programming. She continues to perform missionary work and directly instructs congregants, which includes teaching Bible study within individual homes. Ms. Lang hopes to set an example for her congregants and further encourage the spiritual health of the Church body.
In addition to her work in ministry, Ms. Lang contributed for nearly 45 years as a senior residential administrator for Clarkson House, a community for adults with developmental disabilities. She has also been honored for her work with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Alameda Contra Costa. In her leisure time, Ms. Lang enjoys quality time with her family in prayer and reflection.
