Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Hayes pursued an education at Tennessee State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing in 1999. She continued her studies at Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned a Master of Business Administration in marketing in 2006.
In light of her accomplishments, Mrs. Hayes was recognized as one of the Nashville Business Journal's 2020 Women of Influence Award honorees and one of MBE Magazine's 2019 WBEs Who Rock Award honorees. Named one of the 2014 ATHENA Young Professional Nominees, Ms. Hayes was also awarded the 2014 Community Enrichment Award by NAWBO Nashville. She was presented with the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Pencil Foundation in 2013.
Passionate about championing women, Mrs. Hayes serves as a national board member for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), an advisory board member and Impact Partner for the Pathway Women's Business Center, and is also active with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Metropolitan Nashville Chapter. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Hayes intends to continue contributing to her local economy, empowering women, and partnering with local schools to promote literacy initiatives.
