Having accrued more than two decades of inimitable experience in her career path, Pastor Latin previously garnered a laudable reputation as a corporate legal secretary on behalf of a law firm from 2000 until her retirement in 2019. She continues to serve her community as a visionary with the Abounding Love Bible Ministry, and established the OVL Foundation. For these endeavors, Pastor Latin earned a ministerial license as a gospel preacher, and a certificate of ordination.
While coming of age, Pastor Latin drew a wealth of inspiration from her own father. She admired his service as a pastor and aspired to continue his legacy in her own career. To this end, Pastor Latin received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Phoenix in 2006 and a Master of Arts in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2011. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate at American Baptist Seminary of the West.
For her contributions to the ministry, Pastor Latin has received much recognition throughout the years. She was bestowed with a Certificate of Honor from Mayor Gavin Newsome and Supervisor Sophenia Maxwell, an Excellence Award from the Macedonia Baptist Church and the Elect Lady Award from Bay Area Tribute. Pastor Latin was also named as a Woman of Empowerment, Rising Star and Lifetime Achievement recipient from Professional Organization Women of Excellence (P.O.W.E.R.). Pastor Anita was featured on the Times Square billboard in New York.
