Dr. Young is an esteemed nurse and medical administrator celebrating nearly 15 years of excellence serving patients in diverse specialties and medical settings. Dr. Young immediately fell in love with nursing practice, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007.

Subsequently, Dr. Young began her medical career as a nursing officer at the labor and delivery department of the State Specialist Hospital in Okitipupa, Nigeria. After a year in this post, she would transition to a nursing tutor role for the Ondo State Hospital Management Board, teaching medical-surgical nursing and reproductive health, before returning to Babcock University as a nursing officer in 2009. In 2011, she accepted a registered nurse position at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, with which she would remain through 2014. She would later provide her developing healthcare administration skills to Complex Care Solutions, with which she dedicated a year of her career as a quality review manager, responsible for coordinating patient care and reviewing case records to ensure compliance with all state and facility standards. Dr. Young joined the Montefiore Medical Center in 2014 as a flex registered nurse, and advanced into her current role as a patient care coordinator in 2019.

As a patient care coordinator at a major medical center, Dr. Young devotes most of her time working with patients and families to educate, provide support and family resources, and ensure seamless administration of all parts of a patient's treatment plan, in addition to staff supervisory and development duties. During these years, she returned to academia at Regis University, from which she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in nursing leadership in 2019.
