Drawing on 28 years of practiced experience in medicine, Dr. Ciatti serves as a dermatologic surgeon with Advanced Dermatology, Mohs and Laser Surgery Center in New Jersey. Along with three other dermatologists and two physician assistants, he focuses his practice on Mohs micrographic surgery, excisions, and cosmetic procedures. He has performed more than 50,000 Mohs and dermatologic surgical procedures throughout his career thus far. Outside of his primary responsibilities with his practice, Dr. Ciatti is affiliated with Overlook Hospital.
After completing an internship at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Dr. Ciatti completed his dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Mohs surgery through the American College of Mohs Surgery under the mentorship of Steven S. Greenbaum, M.D. He joined Dermatology Associates of Westfield in 1998 and subsequently took over the practice in 2007 establishing Advanced Dermatology, Mohs and Laser Surgery Center. Along with other industry scholars, including Dr. Greenbaum, he has authored various articles, two of which are titled "Modified Purse-String Closure for Reconstruction of Moderate/Large Surgical Defects of the Face" and "The 585 nm flashlamp-pumped pulsed dye laser for the treatment of telangiectases in patients with scleroderma." Dr. Ciatti is board-certified in Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
An expert in his field, Dr. Ciatti holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University and a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey(formerly UMDNJ). For his professional achievements, he was recognized among America's Top Surgeons in 2008, New Jersey Top Doctors in 2012, 2013, and 2014 and Marquis Who's Who and Plastic Surgery Select in 2020, at which time he also accepted an Elite Plastic Surgery Award from New Jersey Monthly. In the coming years, Dr. Ciatti intends to continue practicing medicine, concentrating primarily on Mohs surgery and cosmetic procedures.
