MCCOMB, MS, September 25, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Quordiniah N. Lockley has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Mayor Lockley was born and reared in the City of McComb, Mississippi. He is the youngest son of the late Henry and Ola Lockley. He is a graduate of McComb High School, Alcorn State University and Jackson State University. In addition, he has studied at Indiana University, South Florida University, the University of Southern Mississippi and New Zion Institute. Finally, he has held many professional certificates and certifications.
Mayor Lockley is a lifelong member of Walker's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, where he has served as an Associate Minister, Youth Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Choir Member. Presently, he serves as the Pastor of Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi, Mississippi Free Will Baptist, Pike County District Moderator, and Second Vice-Bishop.
Mayor Lockley is an educator. He has taught at the Middle School, High School and College levels for a total of 14 years.
Mayor Lockley has served as a public servant by contributing to both his community and city and have received numerous awards for his service. In the Community he has served on various boards, committees, and commissions while holding membership in many local, state and national organizations. In addition, he has served on the McComb City Board, Deputy Director for Public Works, and City Administrator.
On June 19, 2018, the Citizens of McComb elected him Mayor of the City of McComb, Mississippi.
