BEALLSVILLE, OH, October 27, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marjorie Baumberger has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. With an Associate of Arts in business from Belmont Technical College, Marjorie Baumberger began her career as an accounting assistant at Swiss Valley Foot and Ankle Center. She has also worked on her family farm, which has been in operation for several generations. She now serves as a marketing agent for Stone Barn Farm. The family farm is located in Appalachia, which still holds evidence of how early settlers developed the community and passed down land throughout the years.
For her efforts in the field, Ms. Baumberger was previously the regional winner of Ohio's Outstanding Century Farm in 1993, then in 2001, her efforts led to the Frederick Kindelberger Stone House and Barn receiving an Ohio Historical Society Site Marker, in 2014 the Ohio Barn of the Year Award-Agriculture Use presented by Friends of Ohio Barns, and in 2018, Ms. Baumberger received Ohio's Hill Country Heritage Area Appalachian Heritage Success Stories award for the Kindelberger Stone Barn for outstanding leadership and contributions toward the protection, preservation, and/or appropriate development of heritage, culture and sense of place in Ohio's Hill Country. Ms. Baumberger is a founding member of the Switzer Community Heritage Association, Inc. and is currently serving as president. She served two years in the National AmeirCorps program as a first and second grade reading tutor. In the past, she volunteered as a coach to 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl and Dairy Cattle Judging Teams.
