Ms. Glau celebrates more than 15 years of diverse business and financial management experience. She holds an Associate of Arts from the College of DuPage, where she graduated cum laude, and continued her education at Elmhurst University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2005. Prior to beginning her career in financial services, Ms. Glau worked in health care and educational administration, first for the DuPage County Health Department and then the National University of Health Sciences, where she maintained and created instructional and public outreach materials, assisted leadership and performed basic bookkeeping functions. She transitioned into the private sector in 2004 as a bookkeeper and customer service representative for Dominick's Finer Foods of Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. Ms. Glau remained with the company until 20 II, developing a broad range of skills, including personnel management and recruitment, employee training, inventory and store-level accounting procedures.
Ms. Glau joined Allstate in June of 2011 as a cash management analyst, responsible for more than 900 active customer accounts. She quickly proved her expertise, and was promoted to senior cash management analyst in 2013, where she became responsible for regulating wire transfers and account contracts, as well as a long-term bank fee review projects that resulted in a credit of nearly $10,000 due to a software error. From 2015 to 2017, Ms. Glau served as a financial analyst for Allstate, continuing her outstanding career record of attention to detail and ability to execute long-range goals by coordinating audits, partnerships and acquisitions, and acting as department Sarbanes Oxley coordinator.
Since 2017, Ms. Glau has remained with Allstate in a consulting capacity with a focus on loan closing, monitoring and delinquency. She is active in Allstate's "Bring Up the Good" community development program, and is an alumnus of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She attributes her success to her colleagues' and managers' support and her desire to merge her diverse skills to learn new roles. Within the next five years, Ms. Glau sees herself in a management role at Allstate, and hopes to dedicate more of her time to mentoring others in the profession and using her professional experience to encourage new employees' professional development.
