After retiring from a career in nursing, Ms. Begley has excelled as a minister, speaker and the vice president of Paul Begley Ministries. She considers both of her careers to have been her calling: naturally nurturing, she sought out opportunities to help others heal and to be of service. Since 2010, Ms. Begley has flourished as the vice president of Paul Begley Prophecy, a Biblical prophecy ministry with internet and radio broadcasts reaching audiences around the world in addition to a traditional ministry based out of the Community Gospel Baptist Church in Knox, Indiana.
Initially earning an Associate of Science in Nursing at Purdue University in 1989, Ms. Begley earned a registered nurse credential shortly thereafter. She continued her nursing education at Indiana Wesleyan University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009. Ms. Begley has also obtained a degree in Biblical studies and linguistics from Hebrew University.
Indispensable to her ministry's mission, Ms. Begley researches and produces media materials, offers inspirations talks and workshops, and runs Rachel's Heart, a women's prayer group. In addition to her administrative work, she maintains an active writing practice, and has published a memoir, "Finding My Father," about her search for and unlikely reconnection with her biological father. Ms. Begley considers the publication of "Finding My Father" to be one of the highlights of her career, and hopes that readers will identify with and become inspired by her story.
Ms. Begley is a firm believer that "life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away," and strives to live with authenticity and integrity in all things. Furthermore, she is a member of MENSA International. Additionally, Ms. Begley enjoys dedicating her spare time to her three sons and six grandchildren.
